Skateboard Cruising Along Kallang River .. MINE FIELDS !!

We went cruising along Kallang River on our skateboards on New Year's Eve morning. No, not electric boards or scooters. Yes, old school skateboards. :)

We found on several parts of the path,  large patch of dried fruits that were harder than pebbles .. like MINE FIELDS !! They were rather difficult avoid on our cruiser boards. We weren't sure what trees or fruits they were. If you do, please let us know in the comments section below. :)

Altogether, we completed about 8 KM along the Kallang Park Connector Network (PCN). Majority of the PCN was well paved asphalt track  but it wasn't the most ideal cruising route as there were many traffic crossings (and dried fruits) along the way. We'll explore and share some other route in the future.

For directions going to and around the Kallang Park Connector, you can visit the National Parks Board website. If you start from Bishan Park and follow the path down Kallang River via the park connector, you will end up at National Stadium and Marina Bay but there will be a good number of traffic crossings along the way.
