Movie Review: Bumblebee (2018)

Have you seen Bumblebee, the latest Transformers film? This action-packed thriller is sure to entertain all Transformers fans and non-fans! The movie is about Bumblebee’s life on earth before the first Transformers movie and how he arrived on Earth.





The movie starts off with a fight scene of the war on Cybertron. The Autobots resistance were forced to take refuge on other planets and galaxies, as they were losing the war,  Bumblebee was given a mission by Optimus Prime to set up a base on Earth.  Bumblebee arrived on Earth in the year 1987, but was soon discovered by one of the Decepticons and was badly damaged in battle. As a result, his memory cells were fried and his voice box was destroyed. The movie went on with his new adventures as it was revealed how Bumblebee met and made friends with 18-year old Charlie Watson, got his nickname and transformed into what he is now.

If you are a Transformers fan or like action thrillers, you will definitely enjoy this movie. I particularly like the fight scenes. It seemed that director Travis Knight has made it a little different from other Transformers movies such that we can see a lot more of the detail action and cool transformation of the robots.

I would give it 4 stars overall.  There were some parts of the plot which seem to contradict, or it could have been 5-star. :)
